Art has always been a tool that exposes the current, real state of things. Today is like never before. In this simple fading and flickering, the rapid rotation of events, the choking flow of information, instructions, forecasts and prophecies, it is important not to lose the fundamental meaning. The exhibition project THIRST is about a person who is inside fatal events, not just an external observer, but a real participant. Here the source of irritation is the history of the country, filtered through childhood impressions and turned into a series of symbolic objects. The Soviet Union did not end with the collapse of the “great empire”, the emergence of Soviet “independent states”... This tectonic breakdown is happening now, we are witnesses of these processes. With the help of art, myth-prophecy becomes a form of expression, a model of existence in reality, where life refutes common sense. This project is to determine one's coordinates in the current agenda.
